This day in Tech History: Say hello to Windows 95.

You may remember the hype and long lines of people waiting to buy the first major upgrade to the Windows operating system in years.

Heck, I was excited, and I was just a young teenager who was still a year away from getting his first real computer. (Technically, I had this weird touch-screen Tandy with some version of a unix or dos operating system, but it didn’t really work.)
