Still, there’s been a development.Â The Boston Globe reports that a message posted to the magazine’s website says they’re likely to go out of business because of the scandal.
From the Globe story:
â€œThe bad news is that this is probably the final straw for Cooks Source,â€™â€™ said an unsigned note posted on Cooks Sourceâ€™s website and presumably written by the magazineâ€™s editor, Judith Griggs, before the site went down yesterday. â€œWe have never been a great money-maker even with all the good we do for businesses. Having a black mark wont help . . . and now, our black mark will become our shroud. . . . This will end us.â€™â€™
The Globe could not reach editor Griggs or plagiarism victim Monica Gaudio for comment.
