Meet Urtak!

So I was looking into some options for polling our Chronicle readers this afternoon and I came across this service called Urtak, which allows you to ask people a series of yes-or-no questions and track the results.

This by itself is nothing special. Urtak distinguishes itself by allowing the people taking the poll to ask their own questions, which are then inserted into the poll. In that way, the poll itself can become a living snapshot of the issues that are important to the community.

After all, the questions we ask are often just as important as the answers.

Check out the test Urtak poll inserted below and let me know what you think about it. Could this be a valuable addition to the Chronicle’s website? Do you think people would take the poll and ask their own questions? Would they keep things civil?
