The Montana Department of Fish, Wildlife and Parks says its online hunting licensing system crashed on the last day to apply for special hunting permits.
According to the Associated Press, applications for limited-access areas, special doe or cow hunts and other restricted licenses were due today.
Permit application documents are available on FWP’s website, and applications postmarked for June 1 will still be considered “on time,” the agency said.
